Repairing our health system
The Carpenter Government’s
key election promise was to fix the health system however the opposite
was achieved – especially in regional WA.
Bunbury MLA John Castrilli
has proven to be a strong champion for the South West health service.
Basic health
infrastructure in regional WA, such as an Intensive Care Unit and
Cancer Radiation Facility for Bunbury, were promised by Labor but
never delivered. John vocally held the previous government to account
and is now busy assisting the Minister for Health to progress these
vital projects.
John has also had many
successes in lobbying for health system improvements in areas such as
the Patient Assisted Travel Scheme, Incontinence Management Scheme and
mental health services.
Furthermore, he has helped
many individuals to access better services or address individual
failings in their cases.
There’s much to be done
but John has immense faith in the Minister for Health Dr Kim Hames and
looks forward to what they can achieve for Bunbury together.
